I ordered 3 bottle of this Malbec last week. Tried it last night. It was very good. A nice Malbec that is lively in the mouth with good fruit.

Gary, Thanks for the notes on the wine. This was a fun wine to put together - all of its components were fermented separately and then blended together about a month before bottling. The cuvee is 60% grenache, 30% syrah, and 10% mourvedre. Let me know if you have any questions about this wine or any other in my small 'portfolio' . . . Cheers!

I was thinking this may be an issue. I guess if the produce has smoke taint then it is bound to carry through from the grapes to the wine. Sad!
